Water Filtration for Your Sunnyvale Home, Start to Finish

We start by testing your water, then tell you plainly what it needs, if anything. That might be whole-house carbon filtration for chlorine taste, under-sink reverse osmosis for drinking water, iron and sediment filtration for stains and grit, or a water softener only when hardness numbers support it. We work in homes across Sunnyvale, Garland and Forney.

Water Filtration Services for Your Home

Calls usually start with a small annoyance. Maybe the shower smells like a pool, a rusty ring keeps coming back in the toilet, or glasses come out of the dishwasher cloudy. Sometimes it is just wanting better water for coffee and cooking. We begin with water testing so the recommendation rests on your results rather than a pitch, then install whole-house carbon filtration, under-sink reverse osmosis, iron and sediment filtration, or water softeners after a hardness test. Once a system is in, filter replacement and maintenance keep it working the way it did on day one.

  • Water testing

Tap and lab testing for hardness, chlorine, iron and lead, with plain results and an honest answer on whether your home needs treatment at all.

  • Water softeners

We test your water's hardness first, then recommend a softener only if the numbers support it, sized to your household and installed cleanly.

  • Under-sink reverse osmosis

A compact system under your kitchen sink that strips out most dissolved solids and trace contaminants for the water you drink and cook with.

  • Iron and sediment filtration

Stop orange stains, cloudy water and grit in faucet screens with a filter sized to your test results and installed where your water enters the house.

  • Whole-house carbon filtration

A carbon system on your main water line that takes out chlorine taste and smell before water reaches any faucet, shower or appliance.

  • Filter replacement and maintenance

Scheduled filter changes, RO membrane swaps and system checkups, so the equipment you already own keeps protecting your water the way it should.

How a Job Runs, From First Call to Cleanup

Here is what to expect once you reach us. The same person stays with you through each step.

  1. 1

    A conversation about your water

Tell us what you are noticing, how old your plumbing is and what you would like to change. We answer questions and set a time to come out.

  2. 2

    Testing at your home

We check what relates to the problem you described, which can include hardness, iron, chlorine and total dissolved solids. For questions a quick test cannot settle, like possible lead from old pipes, we can arrange independent lab testing.

  3. 3

    Results and a written estimate

We go over the numbers in plain language and recommend the simplest system that solves the problem. You get the estimate in writing and take whatever time you need to decide.

  4. 4

    Install day

We protect the work area, shut off water only as long as needed, install and flush the system, and check every connection for leaks. Then we clean up and walk you through filter changes.

  5. 5

    Follow-up and maintenance

When it is time for new filters, we can handle the replacement so the system keeps doing its job.

Why Neighbors Call Us

Water treatment is easy to oversell. We keep it simple: one person you can reach, a test before any recommendation, and a price you can read line by line. That approach has earned us 4.9 stars from 325 Google reviews.

The same person, every step

The person who answers your first call is the one who schedules your test, explains the results, writes your estimate and coordinates install day. You never have to repeat your story to someone new.

We test before we suggest equipment

A softener, a carbon tank and a reverse osmosis unit solve different problems. We look at your actual results, then tell you which one fits, or whether you need anything at all.

Estimates you can read

You get a written, line-item estimate showing the system, the parts, the labor and any plumbing changes. If something changes once we open up a wall or cabinet, we tell you before we do the work.

Your home treated with care

We put down drop cloths, protect the floor of your sink cabinet and the area around the main line, and haul away spent cartridges and boxes. The last thing we do is run the taps with you and show how the system works.

Honest about the small fixes

Sometimes the fix is a single filter or a replaced cartridge, not a new system. We say so plainly.

What Drives the Price of a Water System

No two homes share the same water or the same pipes, so we only price a job after testing and looking at where the equipment would go. The points below have the biggest effect on the total, and knowing them early helps you compare your choices.

After we review your results and look at the plumbing, you receive a free written estimate with every line itemized. No equipment goes in until you approve it. Free installation, plus a lifetime warranty on the majority of parts.

Your test results
A chlorine taste needs different gear than iron, grit or hard water. Fixing a single problem runs less than adding stage after stage to cover three.
Which system and how big
Under-sink reverse osmosis feeds a single faucet. Whole-house carbon filtration and softeners cover every tap, so we size them to your household's daily water use.
Where your water line comes in
Whole-house equipment mounts at the point where the supply line enters, usually a garage or outside wall. An open, reachable spot means less labor; cramped corners or long pipe runs take longer.
Changes to the plumbing
Some jobs call for a bypass valve, new fittings, a drain hookup or a nearby outlet. Aging pipes may also need a repair before new equipment is connected.
Filter costs down the road
Cartridges, membranes and media each have their own lifespan. We lay out what your system will need over the years, so you see more than just the upfront price.

Questions We Hear Often

Something not covered here? (972) 597-4653

My city water already meets the standards. Why would I filter it?

Municipal water that meets drinking water rules can still taste or smell of chlorine, and it can pick up metals from older pipes inside your home. Filtration is about taste, your own plumbing and extra assurance, not fear. If testing shows your water is fine as is, we will tell you.

Do I need a water softener?

Not always. Hardness varies, and a softener only makes sense when a hardness test shows enough minerals to cause scale and spotting. We test first and recommend a softener only when the numbers support it.

How do I get rid of the chlorine taste and smell?

Whole-house carbon filtration treats every tap and shower, so the smell goes away throughout your home. If you mainly care about drinking and cooking water, an under-sink reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink may be enough.

I have older plumbing. Should I worry about lead?

In most homes, lead comes from the house's own plumbing, such as aging pipes, old solder joints or brass fixtures, rather than from the city's supply. The only way to know is to test. If lead turns up, under-sink reverse osmosis is a strong choice for the water you drink and cook with.

What causes orange or brown stains?

Those stains usually point to iron, and gritty water points to sediment. An iron and sediment filter catches them before they reach fixtures and appliances. We confirm what is causing it with a test before suggesting equipment.

How often do filters need changing?

Change intervals vary by the type of system and by how heavily your household draws water. Sediment and carbon cartridges wear out faster, while a reverse osmosis membrane lasts considerably longer. We leave you a written schedule, and our filter replacement and maintenance service can handle the swaps for you.

Will I deal with a different person each visit?

No. One person handles your questions, testing, estimate and install day coordination, so nothing gets lost between visits.
